As a Junior Analytics Engineer at Dataroots, you'll embark on a journey to become a key player in a team bridging the gap between business and data teams. You wrangle and model data to empower the users of your datasets to gain the insights they are looking for. Analytics engineers apply best practices from software and data engineering to the workloads of the data analyst. Under the guidance of experienced data consultants, you'll gain hands-on experience in helping our customer gain insights from their data.

During a training period, we'll equip you with the skills you need to become a proficient Analytics Engineer. 💪 The Skills

• You have an affinity with the modern data stack.
• You have a first experience with dbt, in a work or school project and have a willingness to learn more.
• You have experience in working with SQL, as well as a strong first experience in Python.
• You have an understanding of (big) data structures & formats and the popular (cloud) data warehouses.
• You're familiar with CI/CD concepts and their importance in data projects.
• You understand the basics of Git, including pull requests and code reviews.
• You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are no stranger to agile & teamwork.
• You speak English fluently and either Dutch or French.
