With a strong emphasis on DataOps and MLOps, we're seeking an Experienced Data & Cloud Engineer to join our dedicated in-house team of data and AI specialists. As a key player, you'll excel in constructing digital data-driven solutions and infrastructure, forming the bedrock for our production-ready solutions aimed at optimizing company processes.

As an architectural genius, you effortlessly design, develop, and deploy data pipelines, ensuring the infusion of high-quality data that serves as input for our machine learning engineers. Collaborating closely with machine learning engineers and cloud architects, you'll engage in projects spanning various sectors, always with a quality-focused, end-to-end approach. The outcome? Our teams provide clients with a reliable foundation for making data-driven decisions.

In your senior role, you'll also contribute to building and sharing knowledge within the team. Our RootsAcademy initiatives provide opportunities to share your expertise and stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.

Job requirements

💪 The Skills

  • You lead in data engineering expertise, designing data platform components and architecture.

  • You skillfully build batch and streaming ELT data pipelines, using tools like Airflow, Prefect or Dagster.

  • You master software engineering skills: working with Git, Python, SQL and Docker.

  • You demonstrate cloud engineering proficiency with Terraform, ensuring robust and scalable cloud infrastructure.

  • You understand at least one data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure data services or AWS data services.


  • You applied Spark for effective data engineering.

  • You set up data quality tooling and managed metadata implementation.

  • You actively contributed to analytics engineering, leveraging dbt and specializing in data modeling.

  • You adeptly orchestrated containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.

  • You implemented secure private networking solutions in the cloud infrastructure.
