As a Cloud (& Data) Engineer you excel in building, automating and implementing cloud native infrastructure that supports production grade data & AI solution development. You have a sharp eye for detail while coming up with and automating CI/CD pipelines, test suites and Infrastructure-as-Code with cloud native approach. You embrace the DevOps philosophy and understand that tooling and engineering are just a part of the story. You enjoy coaching your colleagues, as well as advocating for DevOps principles at customers, to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Scale-up Dataroots from Leuven and Ghent researches, designs and codes robust data solutions & platforms for various sectors. 💪 The Skills

• You master software engineering skills: working with Git, Python, SQL and Docker.

• You demonstrate cloud engineering proficiency with Terraform, ensuring robust and scalable cloud infrastructure.

• You adeptly orchestrated containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.

• You implemented secure private networking solutions in the cloud infrastructure.

• You understand at least one data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure data services or AWS data services.

• You lead in designing data platform components and architecture.

Nice-to-Have 

• You applied Spark for effective data engineering.

• You skillfully build batch and streaming ELT data pipelines, using tools like Airflow, Prefect or Dagster.

• You set up data quality tooling and managed metadata implementation.
