The conditions for an internship at Dataroots (your candidature will unfortunately be rejected if you don't meet these conditions):
  1. You study at a Belgian university or college of higher education. (Tip: the different subjects can be chosen as a thesis topic!)
  2. The internship takes place between February and June and lasts at least 60 days (minimum 3 days per week and minimum 3 months). 
  3. The internship is not a paid position.


During the internship, you will be working with Dataroots colleagues who will support you throughout the journey. We will define the project and guide you towards successful delivery. Dataroots will also make sure that the project follows industry best practices.

Job requirements

💪 The Skills

  • You are strongly motivated to learn from your colleagues

  • You have a background in quantitative field and are at least fluent in one programming language, preferably Python.

  • You have a strong passion for data-driven technologies and interesting design challenges.

  • You have a knack for picking up on new technologies and frameworks.

  • You ideally have knowledge of English and Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus


😄 Nice to haves

  • You have a first experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.

  • You have strong communication skills

Don't worry, we don't expect you to tick every box from the beginning. We are mostly looking for interns with passion for data and personal development.
