Since 2016, Dataroots has grown from its two founders to over 150 employees. To support this diverse employee base and continue our growth in a healthy and responsible way, we’re looking for a HR Business Partner.
As our HR Business Partner, you’ll take on a key role in strengthening our people strategy and supporting teams across the organisation. You’ll act as a trusted advisor while driving impactful HR initiatives that help our employees grow and perform at their best.
Your focus will span several core areas: guiding our performance management cycle, supporting meaningful career planning, and collaborating with leaders on workforce and team development. You’ll help shape our employer brand and ensure our identity is reflected consistently both internally and externally.
You’ll also enhance engagement and inclusion by contributing to Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, monitoring employee satisfaction, and proposing improvements that elevate the overall employee experience. With an eye on the future, you’ll lead our succession planning efforts and help build strong internal talent pipelines.
In this role, you’ll enjoy a mix of strategic work and hands-on collaboration, with the freedom to take ownership of your projects while staying closely connected to the business.
As HR Business Partner, you’ll spend most of your time in our Leuven headquarters. Whenever you’re not in Leuven, you can choose to work from home or from our Ghent office.
Job requirements
đź’Ş The Skills
With 4+ years of experience in a HR Business Partnering role or similar, you’re comfortable working across different HR domains, from performance and development to engagement, inclusion, and workforce planning.
Building strong relationships comes naturally to you. You’re able to challenge, coach, and support with confidence, always aiming to elevate interpersonal capabilities.
You think strategically but act pragmatically: you analyse people data, interpret trends, and translate insights into tangible actions that improve both the people experience and business outcomes.
You’re proactive, organised, and skilled at juggling both long-term projects and day-to-day queries. You take ownership, follow through, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
Curiosity drives you. You keep an eye on HR best practices, new learning methodologies, and evolving trends in employer branding, performance, and talent development.
Experience in a consultancy environment is considered a big advantage. Worked with IT profiles in the past? That’s another advantage!
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Fluency in Dutch and English completes your profile. French proficiency is a plus.
